Hi crafty friends and welcome to The Shabby Tea Room #154 - 'A Silver Lining'! This week Starr is our creative host and she has chosen this gorgeous photo for inspiration. Starr asks that we create a card or project incorporating AQUA AND BROWN AND INCLUDE A SILVER ELEMENT!
The sponsor in the Tea Room this week is Creations by AR and I was lucky enough to get crafty with Adela's sweet Bunny Box template! I adore this sweet little template!! Wouldn't these be amazing as bridal or baby shower favors ... how about tea party favors or even for a little girl's birthday party? I created by Bunny Box using sturdy white card stock and then covered the bunny with a pretty floral patterned paper. I used the pieces included with the template to create the ears and nose pieces from aqua and brown patterned papers. I tied a snipette of white tulle around my bunny's neck and then created a pretty nosegay consisting of a paper flower, aqua chipboard 'E' for Easter and a darling little silver metal key charm! The bunny's eye is a white candy pebble!
I made a sweet little sentiment banner using the Occasions stamp set from Paper Sweeties, and then adhered it to a pretty chipboard star with silver tinsel from Girls' Paperie! I glued this sentiment pennant onto a wooden dowel and stuck it into my Bunny Box - using iridescent crinkle tinsel to hold it up! The addition of a precious little aqua puffy chick completes my gift set!!
So much fun to make ... and even more fun to give away! I need to make some more of these -- I'm smitten ... how about you???
